Personal training is individual or small group instruction that provides a client with motivation, guidance, and education during a workout. A certified personal trainer will assist in developing challenging workouts specifically designed to safely help the client achieve his or her fitness goals. During a session with a Personal Trainer you will do your fitness program under the guidance and supervision of the Personal Trainer. They are there to encourage, motivate, ensure correct technique and safety and to make sure you enjoy and benefit from your workouts as much as possible. |
Do you repair you own car?
Having a Personal Trainer can be likened to going to the hairdresser, doctor or lawyer – you are engaging the services of a professional who can advise, listen and help you reach your goals better, easier or faster. Many of us train without really knowing what we are doing or why we are doing it. Following a personalized, specific program and changing it on a regular basis is the best way to achieve goals, regardless of what your goals may be! |
|
This is up to you. You may wish to have a Personal Training session three times a week, or just meet with your Personal Training monthly for a programm review and catch up. Frequency is a personal choice but may also be dictated by the type of training you are doing and how familiar and confident you are with the equipment you are using, and the program you are using. |
This varies from Personal Trainer to Personal Trainer, and is based on the levels of education, certification, and experience a Trainer can provide. |
